Isn't there a texture in the plastic that makes the paint look different that just a flat coat?

Wait what are you asking? The sideskirts have more of a rough texture to them. The people who painted my sanded them down, made them smooth, and then painted them.

Your car doesn't have to be at the shop when they do it. Just pop off your side skirts at their shop and be on your way. Unless you're that self conscious about driving around with no side skirts, I don't see you losing any of your Suby time while you're getting those painted.

This is no longer accurate.

I spoke to George about a 10 days ago. They moved to a shop of almaden. They still have the shop off 8th for the time being so I'd call them now to get info on the new shop.

And I'd highly recommend george and creative for your side skirts. He'd does good work. You can drive to the shop and he'll pop your skirts off right there. Come back when they're done and he'll pop them back on for you. NO DOWN TIME at all.

George has pained probably about half my car. I plan on taking it in again to get the stock sti skirts a new coat and a few other pieces touched up. Not to mention some work on my caddy.

Go to Creative Kustoms for sure. I've seen the genuine side skirts and quite honestly they're not even worth the money. The paint on it is the same as the Subaru paint. That should say enough.

I remember when I got mine done, it looked so much better and I wished the rest of the paint on the car looked as good as the sideskirt haha. Plus, George & Elizabeth rock.
