I went to the VP gas station is Los Altos last night after work. 93 Oct. was $5.99/gallon. I filled up a full tank instead of blending 100 with 91 and it ran noticible smoother.
I feel like the gas is better than 76, but it did cost $80 to fill.
It's a good match with OTS Cobb stage 2 93 Oct.

Anyone know what the Competition 91 at laguna Seca would be? I don't mean price-wise, I mean what the hell is it? Why is it "competition" 91? No crappy additives?

competition 91? maybe means the people behind you can smell the lead goodness.
Racetracks could charge way more than $8 a gallon i would think.

Not worth running a whole tank of 100 unless your tuned for it.

No one posted about the place on the sunol grade.
I fill up there all the time. 100 oct at $6.00 from the pump.
They have 106 and low lead 110 from the pump too. Guy tells me they have 114 in the back but not in the pump.
I have ben running it for a year now. I'm tuned for it. I figure 14 gallon tank. $14 dollars more per fill up is a nice trade off.

you can always tell a socal (Born socal, grew up in santa barbara here) drives the locals nuts when I say "The 880" and they go "NO its just 880" and I say "no, there is only ONE 880 in the state, therefor it is THE 880.
The VP in san leandro always has 93 and 100(street blaze) on tap, and can order you 5gal containers of ANY VP gas made (I had him get me 20 gallons of streetblaze 103 worked out to be about 8-9 bucks a gallon)
