That is what i just ate, vanilla gelato with a limoncello jelly center, with lemon flavored sugar coating on the outside.

I will no longer eat anything but that. It is all i can eat form this point forward in my life. If i eat anything less tasty i will be forced to commit seppuku due to the dishonor i will have done to my self and my family.

Dre, if you're this happy about American gelato, take a trip to Italy sometime. After your first taste of gelato out there you'll cream your shorts. Genuine Italian gelato, made in Italy, makes the stuff here taste like ice milk.

I was over there for 10 days and I must have had gelato at least 15 times.

I brought back some Limoncello liquer too...

No kidding! I was eating it at least twice a day when i was over there. There is nothing in the US that tastes like it. The Lemoncello that you can buy here doesn't freeze in the freezer so I am curious as to what HomerJay (a very accomplished boozer) knows about this...

If you guys want a good Italian restaurant to go to, you should definitely try Westlake Joe's or It's Italia!
