He just passed the Golden One. call me a fan
If it's ok with you Walt I'll judge Sato on his last 5 seasons, not his last race. Right now he's at a D- (before he overtook Alonso he was at an E)...he's definately improving though.

Seriously, Brits hate on Sato so much!
He better than Button.. yeah, i said it! BETTER THAN BUTTON.
haha
Oh, and uhh, it's Takuma Sato i believe. Takumi would be Bunta's son.

Remember 2004 when Sato and Button both drove identicle cars for BAR-Honda?
That's right, Button kicked Sato's *** in 15 of the 18 races.
Then came the 2005 season when again, in the same car Button beat Sato in all 13 races that they contested (BAR-Honda were disqualified because they were illegal for 3 races and neither driver took part in the US grand prix that was a 6 car farce)
That makes it 28-3 to Button. That's a pretty good comparison of their skills methinks.
If he wasn't Japanese he wouldn't have a drive right now, but like I say, he seems to have improved somewhat.

Same team never means identical cars. Cars will always have difference settings/setup.
Also, a car at one team may suit a driver and a car at another team may crush him. Rubens is a good example of this. He could have beat Michael 2 of those 6 seasons, but only because of team orders did he lose out.
Once he joined Honda, he was in for a rough ride. It's been difficult for him to adjust, and it's not working out. Had he stayed with Ferrari, I think it would have been better for him.

Time for a monday morning hate on Sato...

"Sato spun out of the US GP after running wide onto the dirt at turn three on lap 14, but by that time he was already under investigation by the stewards after television replays had shown him passing Button into turn one on lap two while yellow flags were waving following a first-corner collision.
The stewards later decreed that the Japanese driver will drop 10 places from wherever he qualifies at the next race at Magny-Cours."
