Thinking of gettin an oil catch can

so I have been thinking of getting an oil catch can but have heard you need to take it out for smog inspection. Any one have a problem with their oil catch can? I did searches but most people live outside of california. Do you think its worth it?

I don't really know, I put one in a few months ago. Even if you have to take it out just stick the stock hose back in place, not that hard.

the purpose of the catch can is to capture the oil blow by from the heads that normally recirc in to the intake and it dirtys up the intercooler. This is call using the "stock" catch can.

No worries on the oil catch can, as long as you do not vent out and keep it intact as OEM. plumbed in.
