we see those all the time.
a can of starter fluid, hairspray, paint, or brake cleaner and a lighter will do.
or my favorite. get a needle, heat the needle up with a lighter and stab the stomachs.. thats always a blast lol

I know aguy who claimed to get bit by one in his driveway. He said he pretty much passed out from it or couldnt really walk on his own. Don't remember how long he said it took, and I don't think it was in CA but i could be wrong.

I got bit by a widow when I was a kid. Got mad sick. Fever and what not. But I lived. Recluses scare the crap outta me though. Friggin things can jump like 6 feet plus.
I found a nest of HUNDREDS of widows when I was clearing space for my caddy under the overhang on my property and have come across a couple big ones. I worry more about the rattle snakes, coyotes and wild pigs though. that and mexicans with guns.
must say though paul. That thing looks pretty damn big.
