Things to do while up in San Francisco?
I'm going up there next Monday with my girlfriend and her dad and I just wanted to know what fun activities to do while we're up here or any cool spots that I should check out?
Rule out Pier 39, Golden Gate Park, Twin Peaks and the Golden Gate Bridge because that's we went last time we went up there.
Thanks!

Haha yeah I've been to this "world famous" Monterey Bay Aquarium too many times to count
Yeah Chinatown sounds like fun. I've been there a couple times but they haven't so I'm sure they'll like it.
I really would like to take the Historic trolley around town too. About how much is it?

hello Im kind of new here but Names Daniel,
Depends on how SF you want to get?
If you want the main side of SF like people suggested China town is kind of fun but loses its luster after 30 mins of walking around and running into about the same kind of store every 1-2 blocks.
North beach is full of food and stuff but also some XXX stuff if you decide to dive deeper toward the piers and embarc.
Fishermens wharf is fun. ususally takes up my whole entire day when i visit it. the mirror maze is pretty interactive, they give you special glasses and you'll get even more lost in it. (depends on if your g/f and her father dig that) also the food around their is awsome. The independent chowder vendors are pretty bomb. Boudin is expensive and the chowder isn't to great. Fishermens grotto is also hailed quite in the bayarea but i've never been so i can't tell you how it is. Cioppino is also great at fishermen wharf. Parking is pretty easy as long as you park in the giant parking complex across the street from fishermens wharf. it will save you most amount of money if you plan on staying for a while. Also Ripely's believe it or not is good. ghirardelli square is a nice place to wrap things up at, their sundays are great and large.
If your not into the main side of SF you can go toward the west side of it.
You can visit the sunset district, haight street. and GG park if you want a less touristy day. Sunset has alot of good chinese food if your into that. Alot of good hole in the walls like Loi's viatnamese, and tuttimelon, and wonderful food company has good bubble tea.
GG park has stowelake where you can rent bikes, boats to paddle/row around the lake Also you can hike up to the top where the waterfall is on the center island, its very pretty and worth a view. With the bikes you can get a variaty of different kinds. You can ride singles or up to 6 people.
Haight street is self explanatory. Alot of little speciality shops, your g/f would love this place cuz its a shopping haven for women from second hand clothe stores that are super cheap to piercing parlors and bars and pubs. Also toy robot is around there and etc.
Japantown is kind of played out although they have good crepes, incense store, mochi, noodle shops, and a bar called "playground" but in korean is called "no-ri-toh" It a good place at night if you and your g/f want to go get drinks they have great mixed drinks
there is also Toyose which is actually someones garage but its interior is nothing like one. Its very down to earth and has a very asian junk ship feel to it. Its a korean family restaurant with family style portions and the drinks are fairly good.
I have alot more off the top of my head but depending on what kind of person you are and interests there are multitude of things to do in SF. just keep in mind that alot of laid back social activies are in the Sunset toward the panhandle and a bit more city life is in downtown.
Hope you have a good time in SF =)

If you can afford it, do dinner at Teatro ZinZanni San Francisco - Love Chaos & Dinner
The CA Academy of Sciences is well worth the visit
Obvious one, but well worth the time Alcatraz
Try not to bring a car, I find when in SF my happiness is directly connected to how little I need to worry about parking
