kinda makes sense but what did he do? downshift from 6 to 2 by accident. And even so why would you be downshifting to a lower gear on a highway when you have already achieved cruise speed and there is no grade? Maybe to "check out each others cars". To me it looks like the Z downshifted to try and do a 4th gear pull and shifted into 2nd by mistake.. either way if he wasnt playing on the road it wouldnt have happened.

Problem is, RWD + wet road + mismatch too high revs = sudden jump in WHP..... jink.

Wonder if he had summer tires and the road was 30F? Looking at the photo does look like Summer Tires. The ground didn't look too wet, did not have shiny look to it.
