Is there a way to "conceal" my driving record?

i ask b/c, i have 2 points on my driving record(due to accidents), both happened before i turned 18. my school requires me to have a clean driving record in order to get into a manufacturing program. i have heard around that i can somehow have my driving record concealed to the public eye for other things, like speeding tickets, dui's etc etc(no one can see it but insurance companies), if i was a minor when the points were recieved. but the problem is that i recieved my points from accidents and im not sure if i can cover those points up b/c of that. does anyone know how i should go about this, or lend me some good info? any help will be much appreciated

TIA guys

it wouldnt make sense that you could hide it from something like a job, or school or something. maybe to like a random person but for a school or job i dont think you can. not 100% though.

tell them it's clean and let them dig it up. most of the time they don't have access to the records to begin with.

what if you are able to hide it, then later on your school finds out?

i would suggest looking at your driving record. some things get dropped or improperly reported. contact your insurance agency and see what they say. alot of the time a school or employer won't do much in the way of looking up references or old records so you might not have to worry much

most of the time when they wanna know howa your record is, they will have you to to the DMV and "buy" a copy of your records to show them

you may want to double check... but i was told by the judge when i opted to go to traffic school 2 months before turned 18 to screw traffic school and just wait out the 2 months because once you turn 18, you start again w/ a clean slate.

may want to re-verify this as this happened 5 years ago to me.

.. yea stupid me decided to get into an accident 3 days after my 18th bday.

It's true. When you turn 18, your record is clean. I had alot of questionable stuff that disappeared on my 18th bday. It was a good day. :x

I dont think driving records go clean after you are 18, lol

If so you guys got lucky or there was a loop-hole. How is california going to have so many restrictions on 16-18 y/o drivers, then just wipe them clean when they magically become better drivers at 18?

because state legislature and the judicial system believes that once we turn 18 we magically become more mature and phase out of the "rice" / "race" stages of our lives.

of course its complete BS. but hey.. you can't blame a state for trying.

Id like to see the document that states this

Driving infractions stay on your reccord for 3 years, regardless of the age you got them at

When you turn 18 99% of the time the things are not purged from your record. You must go to court and petition to have the record closed for violations/convictions as a minor. My sister had to do it.

I work for a county probation department and I run dmv checks on people and some records do say "not to be used for employment" meaning they can't turn you away because of that. Other than that I don't know.
