I'll wave if the car looks modded, or if the driver looks young. So far i have waved at about 5-10 people (only been at this a week or so) and all have waved back.

I used to wave all the time, but I am finding that Choku Dori was right about the haole ***-hats. Now, I generally wave and usually never get a wave back. Sometimes I don't wave. Sometimes I am too busy dodging all the other 4-wheeled obstacles out there that seem like they are trying to kill me, and miss waves. I feel sorta bad, but I would hope people would give me the benefit of the doubt before writing me off as a jerk because I didn't wave back.

I have to say tho.. Back in the day when it was all about the RS (it's still all about the RS for me) there was a big Suby community and heck, even people in Legacys got waved at! Not anymore. There have been a couple times I have even stopped to talk to people in WRXs, and they act like I am some sort of freak for saying hi. I posted a sighting back a few months where I came back to my silver WRX sedan to find a nearly identical silver WRX sedan parked there, with people in the car, a girl in the driver's seat. Both my buddy and I said hi and made 'nice car' comments, and we got looked at like we were asking her if her Jello was on fire. WTF is wrong with people? Don't answer that.

What if the driver looks modded but the car looks older? Mine is an '01 but I have a lot of cool hats.

I don't see what the big deal is? no one likes strangers waving at them and trying to get their attention on the road.

Last week I waved at around 9 subies and got waved back 1 time. Then a guy in a EVO waves me a peace sign. This week I waved a subie on 101 and he did not wave back so I showed him the m finger. I hope I did not offend someone if yes whatever. Please wave/ honk when you see a subbie.

Maybe I'll slap on my old school i-club stickers on my G35 and I'll get some waves!

I sometimes get waves, although whoever has the red 4 door gc8 rs in san francisco with a 22b wing is a dick. Waved twice at different times durring the night that I saw him, nothing, just an evil look.
