Is there anyone in morgan hill?

is there anyone in morgan hill willing to help me remove and install stock struts and springs? my friend recently gave me struts and swift springs so why they hell not put them on, they're free.

im having a hard time removing the 2 bolt that holds the strut and the knuckle
thanks.

they're just torqued down pretty hard. If you have a torque bar they will pop off easily.

I used a 3/4" socket on a breaker bar and a 3/4" open end wrench. Be sure to have the top 3 nuts still tight as it will allow the strut to flex and absorb energy.

If you were closer, is give you a hand. I have changed out maybe 3 or 4 on users cars to date

i think they're torqued to 50? idk i may be completely wrong though.

Doesn't matter what they're torqued to by default, if they've been on there a while, they can take a little more "oomph" to remove.

Soak it with some penetrant. Go drink a beer or an ice-t or whatever. Come back... do it again. Go eat dinner. Come back... do it again.

Then hit it with a breaker bar. Not a socket... a breaker bar. Pull it towards tightening it... a little bit. Then loosen it.

Those things get bound up pretty good if they've never come off.
