Ah, we're not lucky (read: rich) enough to have DSL Oh, and please tell me you're gonna have sticky rice (lo mai fan) I love that stuff hehe!

yeah, i wouldn't mind having cable modem (cuz then i'd get cable tv *winkwink*), but at&t doesn't support my area yet. if i could get both, i would, but to pay $50+ a month for just dsl, naw. I've got dsl at work for that. anyways, i can deal with a 56k cuz i still remember the days of the 28.8k modem that only connected at 9600!

but all this talk about a "chinese thanksgiving" makes me remember all the celebrations we used to have at my aunt's place too! turkey next to the pot of rice always made me laugh! damn, but it was all good food. yum!

As Eric knows, my mom is really westernized and Aya, you should know also after having a talk with her at a UCKK meet. She is different but in a really cool way. Anyways, my parents will be holding a traditional dinner with guests over having a turkey. I will of course be helping my dad put up Christmas lights and helping out my mom in the kitchen. Ah, no rice for this family during Thanksgiving. hehe
