I guess the logic is that using less gas somehow "prevents terrorism", you know, because of all the oil fields and refiners that Alqueda and the Taliban supposedly own?
And even if they did, his car still runs on gas, so what does that mean? He supports terrorism...just not as much as the rest of us?

I'll stick with my "normal" 40mpg eg6 with a bseries swap.
I can drive it into the ground for the rest of my life and still have less of an affect on the environment than what it takes to manufacture one of those things new.

Even though it's only a 40, it's still not very practical to commute with.
Her commute is too far for a Leaf and the Volt hasn't been approved for anything yet. She's been watching it like a hawk.
