all the hassle to be able to say several words? how old are we again?
i honestly dont have a problem with any censorship/editing that the mods (aaron, gagan, and daniel) are enforcing.
im not a mod either, and i've been around the board MUCH longer than you all whiners have been. who cares

to me its not that big of a deal.. but when i get temp banned for using "derogatory words" when saying the N word ending with "uh" i meant it casually which is not derogatory. apparently the mods don't know the definition of derogatory.. if i called someone an N word in an obviously disrespectful way then that would have been derogatory.
i don't care. but its kinda bull**** that something like "thats gay" gets overlooked but when someone says the N word in a "hey bro" kinda way he gets disrespected with troll status.

Well, things have changed so much in the last 6 years. I think as subies have grown in popularity, like with any growth in a car community, the crowd gets younger and thus immature. Since joining in 2002, the last 2 years have been going downhill. I still see lots of the old school guys on here. But all in all, I'd have to agree with a few who have posted. You agreed by signing on to abide by all rules. And Bruce Lee's post, nothing has changed. If you want to say something simply say it in a different way. Not that hard. : )

Also, on Gunatics I know that the members there are responsible people, and thats the way I keep it... If we have someone who is out of line and causing problems, it's INSTABAN (like spamming, members who sign up just to cause problems). I don't even question it and everyone appreciates that). We're mature enough to use curse words like adults... I don't censor things, when someone drops the N word, I'm all over it and so is everyone else, its not welcome and they know it... However, i-club is so big that this sort of simple moderation isn't possible... We have some of the most childish idiots to some of the most brilliant and mature members... We have to place a set of generic rules for everyone to co-exist.... Think about it on a large scale rather than your own little world of existance.
^^daniel I agree with you... and I dunno that I am on the same page as the OP of this thread..
although i think there is such a big difference with the N word ending in "er" and "uh" or "a"... only time I have seen a brotha get mad is when a white guy uses it LOL.
but eitherway I agree in many ways.. but we need to step up the moderation and protect all the rules not just some. and I think that aspect is getting ignored.

In all honesty guys, even though I do believe some of the **** I've been saying I've just been really really bored. I could careless what people say or do on an internet forum. It's a ****ing forum dedicated to a ***anese car that I don't even own... haha
I-club isn't going to change their rules to be more "fair", it's going to stay the same. There is a reason so many old members have left, that's just life. I think it's time we give it a rest.
Is that ok with you you ****ing *** ****** ****!!

I think the reason most of the "old schoolers" have left is because they have different cars and/or different priorities. Highly doubt the reason is because the forums are more strict.
