That magazine just relesed an article, here's a quote lifted from sfgate.com

in the latest issue of Men's Journal that advertises 'driving Nirvana" on the two-lane roads that wind through forested hills east of Oakland -- just right, the story says, for bombing along in a Porsche at 75 mph.
To cyclists who ply Pinehurst and Redwood roads, through the hamlet of Canyon and along the ridge behind Redwood Regional Park, the suggestion is nothing short of reckless.

that is hilarious. Crashes are hard to come by on that road, unless the conditions are wack, the driving skills are wack, or an animal pops out on to the road.

oh well, good thing there a hundreds of awesome roads where we live. 
just got back from a great drive to places i won't mention here, but i can tell you that i had a damn good time. damn good time.
