Two thumbs up to Ed @EQ tuning

More horsepower and more torque then my gruppe -s dyno tune
and way smoother driveability and throttle response is 1000 times better thanks to the 3 port boost solenoid.
I highly recommend this guy for tuning

2005 WRX wagon
Helix up and catted down with gruppe-s header and borla hush
perrin MAF tube K&N drop in
Perrin lightened crank pulley
GFB 50/50 BOV

210hp@6180
217ft lb torque @4090

compared to 201@6250 and 191@4500
im not bashing the grupp-s tune its just this one is all around better for daily driving and track days.

Are you sure you didn't just add the lightened crank pulley between the two tunes?

Apparently so....It's great that there's so much +1 posts to give your opinion on a good transaction with a vendor...but shouldn't that be in a vendor or tuner review section?

Robert, I'm glad you're happy with the tune. The power felt good overall and the response was great. Let me know how the car does at your next track day.

Thanks

Yep, I have been doing remote tuning for about a year now with a lot of happy customers in the midwest and east coast. Remote tuning works very well for basic setups and even more complex setups can be done if the customer has a wideband.

Thanks

Nice tq you got there! How is it running the gruppe-s header on stock turbo?

Maybe your car needed some maintenance back when you had your gruppe-s tune. My setup is similar and Mike got me #'s close to yours but I have stock header, stock maf hose, stock air filter, stock boost solenoid and stock bov. 210hp@5750 & 212tq@3750.

Seems like a lot of 2.0 wrx's w/ stock turbo end up inbetween the 200 and 220 whp range.

Glad Ed could give you a nice tune, was that on a road or dyno?

I still like pie, and you can't change my mind on that point.
