Thank you Gagan!

Got my speeding ticket dismissed today... No Complaining Witness.

Saved me $367 plus traffic school fine and fees, if it went the other way. Now on to the next ticket, haha..

+1 . I never got the chance to thank him for sending me examples of a proper written declaration when I went through the same thing.
Thank you Gagan! Much appreciated.

I actually got a guilty verdict when we filed TRIAL by DECLARATION the first time... I was ready to just pay the difference and go to traffic school, but Gagan convinced me to appeal. Glad I did and the officer didn't show up.

Date of Violation was 7/30/14.. it only took 6 months worth of extensions, LoL

FWIW when trying to clock Westbound traffic CHP just sits there from either over by the cloverleaf at Industrial and 92, or down off of Eden landing and Production Avenue.

Unless they're right under the Clawiter Overpass, on the same side of the Highway, it can be argued they weren't reliably accurate in using their judgement or the radar gun because of distance versus interfering traffic.

Same logic as applies to the Speedtrap methodology they use in the service turnouts, and on either end of the bridge.

*Or just chill next time?

edit: Watched the video fully, Officer pretty much admits where he Lidar'd OP, definitely an unreliable spot unless right there as you pass by.

Yup. Always worth trying with a patrol car cop.

Bike cop? Forget it man. He will write and he will most likely show up.

I mean, sure, you can try but the chances of winning are much harder. If you want to do it let me know. Just be prepared!
