testing waters- FMIC intrest?

hey everyone im itsallgookx41's friend and i will be doing an FMIC set up for him soon , the piping will be routed greddy style with a Brand new BAR and PLATE FMIC
Measures 34"x3"x7" Fully polished with high flow cast aluminum end tanks

i've noticed a lot of WRX owners going with intercooler FMIC set ups with HUGE piping the greddy one seems to be 2.75 or 3 inch from what i've seen that thats huge, only the full-race drag cars run that big of piping !! this in turns creates more turbo lag, thus i am making 2.25 mandrel bent piping, fully tig welded, with brackets and pipng will also be PPG painted.

the piping will be 2 inch from turbo down to fender, flared to 2.25 all the way to the ic and out hte ic into the throttle body. my kit will include turboXS RFL blow off valves ( which the greddy comes with non am i correct?) and the correct reducers and pipe connectors made of high quality silicone.

the pipes will be available in silver, blue, gunmetal or black and will include an air filter to create more space for the piping.

to keep costs down i will be flaring the piping form 2.25 to 2.5 at the connections to the intercooelr, this will not interfere flow, just cut down on the costly transition hoses which run 20$ each and keepin the overall cost down. the ends of the pipes will have beads welded on them to prevent pipng blow off during boost.

it will also include stainless steel worm clamps

this set up should support 350 WHP

i am hoping to make this FMIC work with not cutting the stock bumper support and if possible ( i need to get down and look at itzallgooks subaru) to see if its possiblet o keep the oem fog lights which i know some of you love (* chris!)

price im thinking will be about 800$

hows that soudn ? any suggestions?

dude great job phil! the intercooler looks and feels great! great welds on the the piping too. this is the price installed guys. not just for the parts. if u plan on installing yourself all i can say is good luck and i hope u have a plasma cutter. if not this is definetaly (sp?) a great option.

That kit looks great. I'd be in easily if a couple requirements are met:

No bumper beam cutting, and I can keep my foglights, and the IC can be stealth black.
