it totally depends on size of sticker, placement, colors. not to mention what kind of car its on.

Spot on.

After recently going to autox and the track and not seeing one car with a "TEAM so and so racing" decal, and then today seeing a few cars on the street (STI, integra, etc) sporting them it made me go "hmmmm.... if ever there was a contrarian indicator..."
