Yea, the new celica isn't fast at all. My RS is still faster and my buddy's pathfinder beat a GTS in 0 - 60.

The funny thing was, I was driving his car and he was in his girlfriend's GTS. Sadly I smoked him.

Also FF doesn't drift. Not even close. sorry but keep it real.

My dad rides an '02 GT-S 6 speed. Those things are fun =P. No hate for Toyota's.

No hate for Toyota here, just a mild dislike of the current generation Celica. I would love to see Toyota return to the performance market, but sadly it doesn't look like it will be anytime soon (unless they finally get off their asses and make the 395)

I got D E S T R O Y E D by a 91 Celica GT up in the mountains one night. But, the driver drove for Signal Auto, and stock the WRX is kinda ****ty on the grip side.

I like how he thinks his BASE MODEL Celica (hence the rear disc mod) is fast when its only mods are an intake, catback, and 8.9:1 pistons... stock is 11.5:1... He took about 30 hp from himself there. And he only had 140 to start with. Reducing compression that much, he should be running a 150 shot.

Im lauging on the inside Toyota, really I am...
Toyota has an F1 program and they don't even think about planning a Supra or some sort of sports car return....and the Celica and Solara is their answer????

I'm guessing it has something to do with you not starting **** with other people.

If some lil ****wad is gonna talk about smoking WRX's all day long in a car that has more money in making the car heavier than making the car faster, then he's going to get rolled on.

It's really all in how you present yourself. If a hole gang of Celica guys showed up and were cool and friendly, I'll bet a good 90% of the Subie guys would be friendly right back. The other 10% are probably just permanent *******s... heh

i read one the the post that they made... they said the celi... ah.. don't even know how to spell that ish... anyway ... that "ish" had the best handle on track, and quote on quote said that it is the best one on the plant in its class?? but I though the intergra type-s or r are better them... isn't it... that y like alot of people use intergra for track ...

buy the way... Toyota ain't that bad... since I actually like their 2004 4-runner (good car to go with all ya friends snowboarding with all the gear on top and the back, without messing up the my little sedan. haha.) and the new sienna ( my Mom likes it and it has alot of room for the family.) .... um... what else..............um... i guess that about it ...

P.S. just wanna say ... Subaru rules....

P.P.S. but let be more mature ... don't get mad on the little kid ... tehee ... we all love cars ... just the difference is we drives subaru, but we commute with other "cars"...

Alan
