Yeah, the wagon was mine. Don't worry, I got Mert to install a new radiator the same day. Going back in a few weeks for valve cover gasket replacement...

What exactly does adding subframe bolts do? I'm new to the Subaru world, but as far as I can tell, it prevents the rear end from bouncing around. I'm not sure how important this is, as I think my AutoX days are now over.

If you aren't autocrossing or doing any really hard driving they aren't necessary.

I have them on my hatch and it does wonders. When powering out of turns it just squats and takes set instantly, with no squirming from the chassis!

I remember Mert from MPJ. I have to give him a call. Do you guys recall if he can obtain parts too? Or Just INstall or service. I have to call after work.

As it has been pointed out. They make a huge difference in drive quality, just standard cornering, like going on/off the freeway in a cloverleaf you will feel a huge change.

You don't need to be autoXing, just day to day stuff they make a huge change in the behavior of the rear end. I would say its the #1 mod every wagon/forester owner should do, and has the most bang for the buck value.
