To take a drive?

I haven't had the STI out for fun in a while...and the $4+ per gallon is really killing it for me.

That said, I'm really itching to take a drive out to the coast. I've got ~5/8 of a tank. Do I go? Or do I just hang out and save the $30 in gas that I'll burn?

When I start seeing 5 dollars/gallon at the pump, I'm going to seriously think about selling the STI...75 dollars/fillup for a car that I don't NEED in any aspect would have me looking for a new home for it.

That will be a sad day

There's no sense in keeping a car for which I paid as much as I did, only to park it because I can't afford to keep gas in it.

you'd have a hard time selling it at that point, although you might be able to find someone stupid enough to buy it not knowing how much it'd take to fill it up

my 2.0L laughs at all you 2.5L's

Alright, I'm going for a shortie...20 minutes or so. Gotta get it out of my system. I walked by my car twice today...it's been parked for over a week, the time I drove it before that, it'd been parked for 2 weeks!

I raise you 12¢ per gallon with the Chase Subaru card. Though, anyone with AMEX Blue or something like that'll be at 20¢ since it's a 5% gas card.

on a happy note, I started driving 70 instead of 80 on the freeway, and so far, I've seen a huge jump in gas mileage
