Last I read a baby died. I'm with you though. Totally blown out of proportion by the media.

Flu season kills thousands every year. It's still more dangerous driving to work.

+1 , It's like the 1918 flu pandemic was called the Spanish Flu . . .

Our current gov. doesn't want to offend I guess!

Speaking of our gov. and the situation I went through the border yesterday afternoon through Tijuana coming up from the Baja coast, and the Mexican border patrol officers had masks, and as we were crossing the U.S. Border patrol officer said that they weren't allowed to have masks. Again our gov. doesn't want to offend.

As for the "pandemic" I agree with most, it seems like it's media attention blown out of proportion. the real "pandemic" is "FEAR". Like what was mentioned earlier, it's just as dangerous if not more to drive to work, so what we should stop driving?

Anyways . . . . . can't wait to see what happens in the next couple weeks! If the news will be so tired of this hype and move onto something else.

I know of people back in the Army that got Swine flu back in the 70s at Ft.Hood iirc. It's not new.
