i remember this game for n64. probably the best game of all time in my opinion. how does this game compare to it?

 

same here,im so used to using game pad playing these kind of games.is there a control pad adaptor for the old pad or you better off buying the wii version?

i like the game...and havent had any lag or anything with 4 players online. im only at 27% completed in subspace emissary. works been tiring me out so im play all day on my day off to beat the dam game for all the characters.

 

game play is pretty much exactly like melee. new chars rock! PIT ftw!

 

My Girlfriend just bought me a Wii and SSBB and i am a complete noob at the game. Any tips for a beginner? Best character to start with? Thanks for all of the help!

when it first came out for n64 i used fox. then falco. i heard snake is the most legit character in SSBB but the harderst to use. i use link, but am leaning more to pit. its kinda of personal preference.

 

yea, i started on marth. I think if you stick with one of the faster character you'd be alright. Just dont pick something superslow (i.e bowser, wario) or superfast (i.e sonic, fox) for your first char.

We just use the gamecube controllers, works great.

 

I'm using the gamecube controller as well. I like playing with the gamecube controller better than the wii remote. I haven't tried to play online yet, but soon....hopefully.
