" Loose metallic objects and other magnets may become airborne and fly at great speed to attach themselves to these magnets. "

" A small child recently lost his hand when his father left two # 31 supermagnets unattended. The child picked one up and when he approached the other magnet on a nearby table,
it became airborne and obliterated his small hand. "

that there's some power, right there

A buddy of mine has a 1" cube neodynium magnet. They are so powerful that if you take a tube of aluminum foil (the whole roll) and drop the cube into it. The pure magnetic field is so strong, it slows its fall down and takes almost 5 seconds to fall from top to bottom of a 12" roll.

That`s awesome!

Here`s a magnet mishap. Just shows how potent these magnets are.

It can't, its the field the magnet puts out acting on the metal that slows it down. It works on the same principle that a step down transformer does its magic.
