ps. ATP Dyno plots will be posted asap.
pps. no misc parts were damaged in the making of our experiment
Man that is a lot of torque down low. You will definitely have the power when you need it. When do you acutually start building boost?

It builds boost instantly. No lag at all.

That's exactly what I meant. Glad you could fit the thing in the OBS. I'll have to stop by sometime and check it out.

mmmmmm.....

oh man!!! will you please strap that thing up with a HUGE Garrett GT and crank the boost?!?!?! I'd love to see that thing on a dyno with a large TMIC and everything the exact same except the turbos. we'll need 9 different turbos, an experienced tuner sitting there tuning each different setup with the ECUtek until it's real close to perfect, but every other variable stays the same.
Here's my ideal lineup for that motor.

PE1820 vs SR 40
VF30 vs SR30 vs PE1818
AVO 450 vs. SR50
HKS/Garrett GT Kit vs. Vishnu Ball Bearing Garrett

Without that, how will we ever know beyond a shadow of a doubt which turbos are better than others? Shoot, I'll even donate my time to come over there and help out. I've got Mondays and Tuesdays off every week.

PS - Thanks for the dyno sheets.

oh boy don't get me started...

there's no point in having an FMIC when you can have a TMIC that's the same size. all that tubing only adds lag, and i know i don't want lag. i also know i don't want to mess with the safety systems that subaru engineers built into my car. now you want to tell me about heatsoak. and i tell you that a properly made TMIC will not suffer much from heatsoak because of heat shielding, placement, and generous airflow cooling it off as soon as the car starts to move. i'm sorry but there's just no point.
