Was at a track day at thunderhill in september and after 4 hard 30 minute sessions i noticed oil pressure dropping in hard turns. I forgot to change oil before the event and instead of calling it a day i went out for one more session with Christian driving the car. After a few laps the car lost power and started ticking. Spun the #2 cylinder rod bearing so it's time for a rebuild.

In the video title it says it was a turbo Cobra. Is that true? If that's the case, and no offence davon, I'm supprised it didn't run better in the top end like that. I've seen Kenne Bell SC'd Cobras run faster than that. Regardless, your car is/was a monster Davon, very very nice.

yea it was a twin turbo cobra, had the HP kit. he was only on 91 octane and 13psi of boost though since he needed a few more parts before he did an aggressive tune (550whp or so) the reason the video doesn't look like we are going crazy fast is because the camera car is a low 12 second single turbo rx7 and he is on it most of the video. the cobra has a ton more in it once he tunes on race gas but for pump he is still pretty quick, he ran a 11.3 at sac on the same tune that he was running on this video.

Im pretty sure I may know that cobra....he's somewhat local to the sac area his name on some forums is Chingy. Not sure how long ago that video was but he had a whipple setup then went to twin turbo
