Welcome to the forum Greg... Btw where you from so we know where to go for audio systems etc? maybe you should add a general location in your screen profile... and why do you have an Intake on a Wrx? Hmmmm?

No offense man, we're just trying to help you out a little. If you like the sound great, but i went through two intakes (a Blitz SUS and a AEM) before i realized from others on the board that you didn't need one unless you have a FMIC or something.

Not to mention it felt like i lost a little power. Im not sure if you still have the stock box or not but if you do maybe search the forums for "intakes" and do your homework if you haven't already. I did the Mod from ScoobyMods on getting rid or the silencer then adding the velocity stack from summit racing as seen here:

http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/sho...=&threadid=113

I came from a background of non-turbo cars that needed an intake so i ran into the same problem when i first bought my car. But anyway, that's what the forum's for. Have fun and try to make out to the biggest meet of the year (MT. Hamilton). Maybe i'll see you their if i could go.

Eric

BLUTHDR815,

Can you recommend a good alarm under $300 or so? Do you do alarm installs? I've been wanting an alarm, but since my car isn't even past the break-in milage yet I don't know if I trust Circuit City or Best Buy hacking up my wiring.

ok ok here are you answers... SUP Eugene! lol hahahah

um, avhp7490 is $2800 retail and 1700 to 2000 dealer cost. Its an older model and im sure you can find it for clearance at many stores for cheap.

I do alarms, as well as, all audio, fabrication, plexiglass work, fiberglass work, etc, etc...

As for alarms, i prefer Clifford such as the IG series or arrow 3. Ask around local shops, preferrable good guys. Viper is also a good brand with their 550, 600 models. for any do it yourselfers i can post wiring schematics if ya want.
