Subie bucks - What happens when you hit the limit?

Subie bucks - What happens when you hit the limit?
Well I just hit the $500 limit on my Subie bucks and still have three months left (I knew I shouldn't have given my wife a card and made her get her own account!

So what happens now? Do all of my charges send subbie bucks into subie limbo? I started using my Discover card again since there is no limit on that and at least I get 1% back. Next year I guess I'll use my Discover card more often.
