was it subarus sick joke-last injector

spent the day preparing for my tune on tuesday, swapping spark plugs, oil change, intake and injector swap.
why in the hell did subaru put so much crap on the passenger side of the motor? getting to the last injector got me so pissed i had to stop before i burned the car down.

no kidding. i moved the tank, unbolted the bracket and tore a 1" gash across my palm. bled EVERYWERE while i was trying to get my hand out. had to pull out the trauma kit and have the wife throw 3 stitches in me.

tommorow morning ive got 1 injector and 2 spark plugs to swap out.

oh,almost forgot the best part, the front injector plug snagged when i pulled my bleeding hand out, pull the plug off the wires. thank god it was a clean pull.

I always thought passenger side was a lot easier. Aha

Hopefully you get all the rest swapped in before Tuesday.

I thought servicing spark plugs was a sick joke too.

Ahah! No, always thought it was easier. After you take the intake box out, was smooth sailing. I have a 06 wrx though so the driver side is still some what of a pain cause there's an air pump nd not the resivior.

not sure about the injectors but i think the spark plugs in my 06 sti were pretty easy to change. I actually went back and tightened them twice lol so i pretty much did 3 spark plug changes in 3 days...

I started with the driver side not knowing it was the harder side so the passenger was a lot easier

You have sidefeed injectors! They're cake compared to top feeds with the nasty brackets. Could have paid is $100-$150 and save your palm

Seriously, I had no problems once I removed those brackets. Those things sucked bad. They definitely didn't go back on.
