Well Subaru has hit it big time with its release of the STi. as its featured in HOT ROD mag. where they put it through the tests against HOT RODS top gun the mustang cobra.... (i think the cobra is supercharged not sure)

i saw it on hotrod TV and they described the STi as being like the barracuda of our days.... (what ever the barracuda is )

man i bet HOT ROD mag is going to get loads of hate mail from all is subscribing Muscle heads... for this one.

no i dont there website dont have the artical on it... and i only watched half the show last night.. they did rave alot more about the STI than the cobra...

well i just finished reading the artical on my break and its nothing but raves for the sti... here are some quotes from the mag.

I skimmed through the article at Safeway this afternoon. Although they were hesitant to admit that the STI was a far superior vehicle it seemed like the only real bad thing they could say was that "it looked dorky with it's 4 doors"
So what if it has 4 doors, I bet the Cobra looked even dorkier for being beat by a 4 door! They did admit to the Cobra feeling outdated while the overall drivability and stability of the STI felt lighter and like a go Kart. This had to be tough for them though cause the STI has a whole 90 HP less than the cobra and physically half of the engine and cubic inches! So chalk it up as a win for us fellas....We've not only got better performance than the mustang but also AWD and all for less $$$$$$
