I just tried to see what their results have been over the last year and... wow... that site SUCKS!
Went to the series site and... it looks like they finish anywhere from 43-13 when they finish. Lap times appear to be a few seconds off the leading pace. I guess it isn't that bad, but the car just seems to me to be too damn heavy and the AWD an actual handicap. I'd have to read the rules to know exactly what the problem is, but you get the overall.

They have been getting better and better as the season is progressing, I think they took 8th in the last race a few weeks ago. In fairness the car is crippled by the current mods it's allowed mainly due to Audi's successes in that series where they came out and crushed everyone so now the powers that be at Grand-Am (Nazcar!) basically stiffle any attempts of a turbo AWD package.
They will slowly allow them to have tweaks here and there so I would expect them to get better and better as the season progresses, if there is no change in car from Subaru next year then I would think they would have a pretty competitive car for next season.

The car will be the same for next year (at least as much as I can tell you it will be).

I've been thinking of going ever since I found out the date the race would be at Laguna this year. I love Laguna and have done two track days there, in my car, so I like it. $30 ain't bad at all.

here are a few shots from yesterdays event. not the best shots due to the fact the Subaru went out about half way through the race so i was unable to get different angles.

oh so thats what happened! I was on the backside of the hill and I could not hear what he said. Then I was waiting for like ten minutes to try and get a shot on the corkscrew and it never came back around haha.

i guess it happened at turn 5 and when it got the corkscrew the left wheel was at like + 10 camber due to the suspension breaking...they pulled it in and it was done.
