Subaru Primal Quest Adventure Race?
So, I was coming back from lunch today and I saw a black Chevy S-10 Blazer with this huge sticker on the back window that said:
Subaru Primal Quest Adventure (the logo)
I was like WTF is that? so I looked into it and here's what I have found:
Subaru Primal Quest Adventure Race
has anyone ever done this event? From what I have gathered its like a triathlon, or quadathlon.....I heard there is Kayaking, Mt. Biking.....and who knows what else....looks like it'd be a fun event to check out sometime.

The dude in the cube next to me at work was a participant in Primal Quest this year
Peter Gibson from team NKF Norcal:

You can see the day they lost a whole crapload of time on the graph. They basically stopped to save a dude who nearly drowned. They still finished in 8 days.
This guy wore sandals to work for a week because his feet hurt so much. He showed me the bottom of his foot and it was a total wreck. Like 30 blisters on each foot, some that were in the same spot, you could see there was like a couple smaller blisters inside what had been a previous blister than popped.
This guy is totally aggro. He'll go swimming a mile in the morning, then run 10 miles at lunch.
On top of the already strenuous task of completing the course, the so-cal fires started about that time, and he said they were getting some smoke (not a lot, but some) in the southernmost portion of the course. He didn't even know about the fires until they had been burning for quite a while.
