Maybe specify since this is a Subaru forum, in a thread about worlds fastest Subaru, going fast in your subaru, and having a 6 speed in your subaru to achieve such speeds.

yea sure it can be done or atleast close to it, theres a reason why that car is the only car in its bracket because its very difficult

i stated that if the car was using factory redline 7200rpm with factory size over all wheel/tire diameter

then no its not possible

but if you decide to increase redline limit or use taller tires, then of course you can achieve higher speed

maybe i assumed too soon that he doesn't have a heavily modded subaru. but 201mph is not easy

well i did 208mph with my jdm 7 speed ppg gear box!

 

isnt there too much drag on a Suby body to even achieve 180+ without a ****ton of power?

 

it takes a lot of power to go over 180 in any car that's for sure, when i had my old 2.0 with an 18g I got up to 175 per garmen GPS so I don't know if that's %100 or not

 

GPS is a hell of a lot more accurate than most speedos in my opinion.

(at high speeds at least) I know motorcycles speedos are crap above like 75 or so. My first bike was off a few MPH up till 40 and then after 80 it would vary between 5-20MPH off depending how fast I was really going.
