Subaru Flip Covers to Prevent Theft

I am kind of curious why subaru didnt include a flip cover to cover your stereo like the scions or newer cars have. I mean it is a really good way to hide some of your aftermarket stereo equipment when you are parking in a not-so-friendly place?

Does anyone know of a aftermarket flip cover you could get or maybe a DIY? I am sure there have to be people out there who have thought about this as well.

Im looking foward to your responses guys

since the OEM headunit already sits flush with the rest of the console, any sort of cover will look slightly out of place IMO

yeah, and it wont stop people from breaking in. They know what to look for. My friends mom had her Nav with a fold out arm under the dash where your knees are, and it still got stolen.

since the crook knows your hiding something, they will break in. with the scions it is like each car crying wolf with stock units, even though there might be $1000 hidden under the cover, the crooks wont even bother with any scions since they mass produced this on all their cars.

I don't know Zoeb, my buddy had his stock stereo stolen out of his '92 camry. The damn thing wasn't even a CD player, just a tape deck. And they didn't even take the iPod mini sitting on his passenger seat? Stupid thieves do stupid sh1te.
