The Fiat 500 is the only example I can think of in the USDM market, but then again that car could not have happened without Ford and Chrysler. Subaru and Toyota could slap something together.

I really like the Honda Fit, but it's like a small mini-van to drive, and I believe weighs around ~1000lbs more than my Justy.

You're dead right. And look how well that little car is doing. I think it's opened the door and the company that has the next best chance of doing some thing worthwhile is subaru/toyota.

Honda has their fit and I think that'll be where they stay. They have that CRZ or whatever the hell it is. They do have the CRX platform they could bring back if the segment warrants it.

You mean Kei car. The distinction is important as no one wants a real K-Car.

I would like a Honda Beat.

I had a 2009 Fit for a few years. It was a great car, but more like a small minivan than a small car. I feel like I could put my Justy inside of it. I think the CRZ would be a contender if they would remove the electrical power plant. A tiny car that weighs 3000lbs is stupid (IMHO).

I seriously want to do a track day in my Justy. Someday.
