i missed the beginning. i just saw the test jumps before the actual record breaker. but from the looks and sound of it and the way it handled the landing....id say it was fully tuned and dialed in.

Any car can jump, its how they land that matters, and very few if any cars can survive a jump the way they are built these days.

If that was a stock car it certainly would not have made the turn-around to come back.

If you watched the whole program (which was painful -if hype can hurt) you would have seen that the VSC crew stripped the car down to the body in white- seam welded everything, welded in a full roll cage, bolted on heavy duty underbody protection, and rally suspension.

He still managed to land it hard enough to tweek the uni-body and bust the windshield.

When I see your name above Ken's on a rally result sheet, I'll give a little more credence to your comment on his input- he had to have the ***** to set it up and go for it, which in itself is no small deal, probably not as big a deal as the show hyped it up to be I'll admit, but I don't see anyone else out doing this, and having flown a car or two in my day, (no where near that high or far) I have great respect for his pulling this off.
