ugh, i have to go to work now. i hate workign retail around the holidays the closer to christmas more and more *******s come out. it really puts me in a fantastic mood.

 

Awwww, I'm sorry, that sucks......gotta love the retail business.....I cant stand going to the mall parking lot during Xmas, let alone actually going INSIDE the mall. (mall or not) I feel sorry for all of you in retail.

i know chelsea works at the double tree, not sure which location and i work in the downtown SJ marriott. usually around this time of year *thanksgiving and christmas,* were really slow. the property i work for is usually for business type folks and our clients are with family during this time. all in all... its a dead season.

^^ Yep exactly. I'm at the Berkeley Marina. We offer good views of the bay, but what's really spiffy is the "Executive Meeting Center". The meeting rooms are top notch and I was surprised to see how nice they were compared to the rooms. The ballrooms and banquet rooms are pretty nice too. We host many conferences, wedding receptions, bar mitzvahs and workshops. Cal sports teams stay here, and we once had 300 Russian ballerinas here for a performance at Berkeley's Zellerbach hall. Some singers stay here too, but I have to keep quiet about those. *cough cough losloneyboystemptationsfantasiabarrinogwenstefani cough cough*

Friends and family rate is $59, come visit. :P

i used to work up until the 24th.

then the governor would "give" the state workers 4 hours of "freebie" vacation time so we can go home...

but this week, they are shutting down the power on 22nd and 23rd to connect a new building to the campus grid and i decided to take vacation time...

so i get 3 days...

but then again, our "union" decided to move all the normal holidays during year, like columbus day, veterans day, etc; and move them from the week after christmas until new years... i used to hate that.

 

why did I think you worked @ the fairmont this whole time? lol
