I hope there is lightning, we never get enough lightning around here.

BTW DAMMIT this means that I will have to finally get new tires. or drive VERY carefully.
Sir yes sir! I drive on that road just about everyday. I know wet ground could be a lot of fun, but it's not worth risking my life over it.

Mountain Report:
Well, it's noon and the wind has picked up to a brisk pace. Sustained at about 30 MPH and we've had regular Alert Warnings from the media all morning. They are projecting 45-60MPH sustained winds in the Valley areas with gusts to 80 MPH. At the ridges, winds are expected to exceed 100MPH. Now we're getting exciting!
Following shortly after the severe wind alert, we have a winter storm warning with 2-3 feet of snow about 7,000' and up to a foot down here in the valley 4,750'
I'm about 5 miles east of South Lake Tahoe.
The F-350 Diesel 4x4 has a plow on it and I'm good to go

Nice. Don't go out tonight, way tooo windy. Your snow will melt and you'll get rain during the day.
