semi GOOD NEWS:
My car was found this morning.
Was apparently stolen (Thursday night) for joyriding by 3 (still-at-large) 20-somethings.
They were spotted abandoning it a mere 8 miles from my house, apparently when they blew the transmission and/or clutch, on Saturday morning.
One of the residents right away reported it as abandoned, but the good ol' cash-strapped police didn't check it out until today and ran the plates and found it was STOLEN, not 'abandoned' (duhhh! who would ever abandon their Subie?!).
There are no signs of hot-wiring or lock-picking. Suspicious, considering that I've never made copies for anyone except my wife and a spare key, and all keys are accounted for. Only two performance shops have worked on my car and had a chance to copy my keys with me not around. I suppose I should check if they have any employees who were disgruntled and left.
Thanks for the support and all the searching that went on.

Sorry for the semi-double post, but for the hundreds who viewed ChimChimm's post already, I'd like you to come back and look at more pics.
Here are three pics of my stolen car.
Distinctive things to spot:
front: gray colored projector headlamps (instead of the 'bugeye')
side: 7-spoke Rota SDRs with blue lugnuts
back: WRX badge re-done as shown
and tinted back-door & rear windows
Please email me and call the police if you spot the car (registered as stolen), hopefully abandoned somewhere. I know 2 people who eventually recovered their stolen cars...with the help of others who spotted 'em.
Thanks for helping.

Sent the specs, along with the plate #, out to everyone in my area as well as a bunch of people down south. They will all keep an eye out, as will I. Best of luck man, I am really sorry this happened.

damn dude, that sucks
anything else specific that people can look out for!? you should seriously look at some craigslist ads for parts you may have had on it for California, Washington, Oregon and Nevada. Good luck and I hope the ****ers get what they deserve.

Car was stolen from the Milpitas/Fremont/Union City area...
Most likely it is NOT in those areas but I've read stories of people's cars being found nearby...
Thanks for everyone's 'eyes' on this.

To those who gave me the good suggestions, thanks, I will be looking on craigslist and Ebay. Maybe the flea market if I have time. Started looking already.
****without a doubt, big reward to whomever can help me get my car back and/or catch the guy who did it****
Thanks for the moral support.
