STOLEN 1999 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS
Hi Guys,
My friend's friend had their car stolen today. Please see the CL posting for more details and pictures: STOLEN 1999 Subaru Impreza 2.5RS !!!
"It was last seen near Blossom Hill and Almaden Expressway.
I don't really have anything to offer as a reward. I can probably round up a few hundred bucks to whomever actually finds the car. It's already been reported stolen.
It's kind of a pile. There are no straight parts of the body almost all of the paint has come off. Has a primer drivers' front fender, no driver's side skirt, the hood is dented and doesn't sit flush with barbed wire scratches on it and the roof (it's a long story). It has 140,000 something miles and the trans grinds but we love it.
No fancy stereo or wheels. Has crappy walmart tires. If you stole it to part it out, you are a moron.

What the **** is up with all this thievery recently?!?!!??! Illl keep on a look out. This must be like the 3rd thread within a 2 week span............... Most have been in san jose.
No kidding!! I hope you have as good of luck as I did. Had my legacy stolen on the 6th and recovered on the 7th. Also a beater. These crooks need to go back to swiping Hondas!
my biggest fear about my, recently purchased GC8, is getting stolen while I am up here in the bay with all the recent posts I have seen. It luckily has a factory alarm... I will at least be able to hear it getting stolen... GL to your friends - I too will keep an eye out.

My friend (who owns a 2000 RS) and I (who have newly bought '87 RX) have been watching craigslist for EJ22 or EJ25 for both our cars and have noted a few more popping up than usual. I guess thieves noticed it too.

If a thief sees that they will just move onto the next easy target.
Not saying clubs arn't easy to deal for an experienced thief with but its a HUGE determent for them.
Thank god thievery isn't as bad with the Subie community versus some other ones. Oh brother, I joined a NorCal Honda group on facebook to sell 2 sets of wheels. Everyday... I **** you not everyday a new post is about someones Honda getting stolen on occasions 2 per day. Crazy man, thievery ****ing sucks. I hope you find the car back man.
