but we did get to checkout donner lake over the weekend.

im going back to get that lake @ first light.

I just parked and ran out to one of the many decks on the lake. i'll go back and get some from the HWY Vista View... nice frozen lake, never been on one.

Like mattsn0w said, the first photo is Avenue of the Giants. And I did see some elk (coming down highway 199)...

The second one is indeed Trinidad.

haha! So much for local knowledge lol. In hindsight, those Redwoods are a little small for Prairie Creek.

I am glad everyone enjoyed their vacations.
