Sti pink or not!?!?!?!?

Hey all,

Getting some powder for the powder coating project. Need to know if you think it is or isnt. Some info would be nice as to if you think its too light dark, bright, etc.

RAL 4010 TELEMAGENTA

I personally think its pretty damn close. :-) There are price breaks for purchasing more so PM me if youre interested in group buying :-)

I sure hope so cause for them.to custom match the actual sti color. they said it was 75 bucks, plus minimum 5 pounds at like 20 bucks a pound. so i would be at 175 buckaroos for 5 pounds of powder without even being able to test it. ><

I'm not expert on the matter, but it looks to me like this is closer:

RAL 3017 ROSE

GrimmSpeed manifold used for "cherry blossom" reference:

thats one expensive test sample just to find out "if".. on my two screens and my phone it looks good. but is that the same color after powder coating/baking? do you have STI pink to hold up next to the color sample they provide on the site?

The top one looks too light. STI Pink has a little bit more vividness then the baby pink that the first pic has.

Well the link above is not the custom match. That one is just the regular magenta they have on hand. I am getting this stuff powder coated from a local vendor. I myself do not have the money to get a powder coat oven lol.

Thats not cherry blossom pink enough lol. I got a knock off Pink I badge and two authentic JDM pink I badges. The comparison above is literally how different in color hue the paint was.

I haven't looked at my cherry blossom red parts for a while (mostly under the car) but iirc, it looks to have a little too much red, so it's a touch too dark. I think true cherry blossom red is a little bit brighter.

However, this is on a LCD monitor, where color can be off quite a bit. CRT monitors would be better to get a true color.
