wow...seems like a lot of people would do it. why? i have an 06 sti and drove the 06 evo 9 mr and they feel different, but the same in many ways. i have a chance right now to trade for a white MR...i might regret trading my suby...

I would like to get an Evo and thought about it too. I would love to have both actually! I know of a local friend that has both. 02 Bugeye with sti drive train/motor swap AND has an Evo MR! Lucky guy I tell ya!

i wouldn't traade my sti...but ideally i'd like to get 06 gg evo mr w/ se package somewhere down the line so i can garage my sti.

only if my wife can drive a manual. I would pick it up without letting go of the sti. so tempting. white 06 MR with only 12k miles on it.

Ive seen this evo at my nearest dealer in daly city. I have to say it looks pretty dope. yesh evo>my subby.

I was thinking about it, but the only reason I'd get an evo is to track the ish out of it and buy a daily driver. I just couldn't bring myself to daily drive an evo, feels like a turbo'd honda to me.

Once tuned with bolt ons it really wakes up, especially the IXs. I make 300ftlbs at 3700rpm or so on 91 . I want a DD too, but its not the power issue, its the ****ty fuel economy and rattles lol

As for ppl wanting ONLY the MR...lol why? If you plan to track it the 6speed box can have issues.

The evo SE (non-mr) is/was the best evo made to date IMO, im still holding judgment on the X

that's what I'm talking about, the rattles and shakes and ****. I used to have a turbo honda hatchback, and it feels just like it. I just feel so secure and so safe in my suby that I wouldn't trade that for anything.
