So do they put the car on the lift or what do they do to inspect the car?

no its a standard 2 speed idle california state smog inspection. emissions test,visual,and functional test of emissions components.

So, I can basically leave my gauges in along with my catch can? Or do I have to put those back to OE?

i say put it back to stock and take out the catch can cuz you dont want them to ask question you know. i took out my boost gauge and turbo timer.

no both are a fail.and need to be stock.

gauges tap into emissions components this falls under the modified catagory.

catch can taps into pcv, emissions components :same modified catagory

id say put everything back to stock

remember when i went, they were tripping over my gauges even though they were connected and my TT.
