I just got state ref for my exhuast..
the cop said something about a baffle missing on my exhuast. He said if I get the silencer for the exhuast it would pass state ref.
Is this true
soo right now if anyone has a helix silencer for sale

depends on the ref you go to
most of them will not pass anything that is not OEM

The ref is supposed to check the db level...which is suppose to be under i think 95. But it also depends on what you were cited for cuz there is a VC that states any kind of modification to your exhaust is illegal.

 

Vehicle Code. On the front it should say xxxxx(a) or (b). What is the violation number.

 

Go to the State Ref in alameda they're relaxed when it comes to this sort of thing and won't be dicks.

Welcome to a year ago. And thats long over.

Just a little piece of advice, if you go in there trying to pull one on them you'll probably fail. Just do it right the first time.

 

Throw on your OEM catback if you have it.
