So, have you seen the new Accessport for the XT? Can I bring the XT in, and do some dyno work to see what the real world numbers are?

Cobb is making 35 to 40 hp claims, and before I allow them to sell on subaruforester.com I want PROOF with my own eyes, and before and after dyno runs.

quick question. with a reflash, if ym batery was to die or say someone disconnected it for an audio install, or for any other reason the ecu was pwered down, would i lose the reflash and go back to stock settings? or is the reflas permanent until it is flashed back to stock? sounds like a great deal, hopefully i can save up enough.

A reflashed ECU does not lose the tuning map when disconnecting battery. This is called an ECU reset. The worst case is that with some reflashes you lose the learning the the ECU gains over time but it comes back after driving for a while. The performance tuning map is unaffected so no worries about a dyno tune being lost.

It is permanent until reflashed again.
