Such a good idea! Too bad I didn't think of that before I went to school And I live in Sunnyvale... there aren't any homeless people here.

 

i once carried an extra banana in case a homeless person asked me for spare change. one eventually does, and so i offer him the banana instead. he says, "i'd rather have change." that was that first and last time i offered food to a homeless person

 

guess the homeless shelters got a few less pastries for donation today...

 

I offered coffee to one huddled in doorway when it was pouring rain. "Psh, I don't drink caffeine." In hindsight it could have been one of those straightedge douchey hipsters, they look like homeless people sometimes.

 

Hipsters aren't straight edge, unless cocaine is no longer a drug.

 

I use "hipster" to describe that intangible element of many types of jackasses that you just can't put your finger on.
