Question Starbucks cup lids

Why don't the Starbucks coffee cup lids have resealable flaps? When driving around, your coffee can slosh out through the opening in the lid.

During my drive from Sunnyvale to San Jose, my Grande became a Tall without me taking a sip!

I have coffee stains all over the center console and e-brake handle. If I was a true coffee junkie, I would have licked it all up, but I'm not, so I didn't.

keep McDonalds lids in the car. I don't know if they'll fit but it's worth a shot. Or you can bring your own coffee cup and pour it in there.

The mug thing is a good idea, but I can't help feeling that this is a sinister plot by Starbucks to sell their mugs in their quest for supreme, world coffee domination.

Wu, it's time to go ahead and invent a new lid, let me get 10% of your profit for supporting your idea!

Do you think a nipple from a baby bottle grafted onto a lid would be a good idea?

That's why they invented capuccino. The foam prevents the liquid from oversloshing (or cooling off too fast). Them eye-talians are genius for all things automotive. They invented the capuccino long before the cup holder was ever conceived.

cost efficiency... if you want a lid w/ resealable flaps to prevent spills in the car... it can be done, i can get it proposed at my next regional meeting in 2 months... but be prepared to spend another 10cents more prolly for the lids.

dude.. just ask for a sticker to cover your lid! lol.

I don't go to starbucks. That way, I don't have to worry about their lousy cup lids.
