spray paint new exhaust?
hey I'm about to get this cheap ebay turbo back: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Subar...Q5fAccessories
I know it's cheap and it has a can look but I barely drive much (about 4-5 miles) everyday to get to school. My car really isn't worth much and I can't justify spending a ton on a new exhaust toy. I can't seem to find a video of this on youtube so I don't know how loud it is. Does anyone have this exhaust?
My goal is to spray it black like this one. Which spray paint do I use or do I just get one for steel application?

thanks!!
edit: I live in pleasanton and I personally know someone who got caught with an exhaust here that went to my school

I would not buy that... dude that's an exhaust leak waiting to happen.
For $120 there cannot be good tolerances, or decent welding.
Save your $$ and buy something worth owning.

Actually ebay exhausts are pretty decent for their price, I got a cobb replica off ebay for 200, still running strong no leaks also the welds are perfect.,

Agreed. We've seen either flanges that don't sit flat at all or the pipes hit the frame/x-member/rear diff. Im sure this doesnt go for 100% of cheap ebay exhausts but I'd say a majority are that way.

I know what you mean... I recently grabbed a SRS cat back for my car and although it is stupid loud, I still want something louder.
If you are cool with telling people you have an ebay exhaust then go for it. I would probably go for it and if it doesn't work out, then oh well. At least it was only $120.
And high temperature paint will be best for painting it.

I just sold mine to a member on here. With the stock down and up pipes my wife could hear me pull off the freeway two blocks from our house.

If you can't afford to do a modification properly, it means you can't afford to do the modification period. Don't buy a cheap part as it'll cost you more money in the long run.
Yeah, a lot of people know someone that has gotten in trouble for exhaust. Black, shiny, white, blue, red.... I don't care what color it is, you still have a big, loud fart cannon.
