spray paint new exhaust?
hey I'm about to get this cheap ebay turbo back: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Subar...Q5fAccessories
I know it's cheap and it has a can look but I barely drive much (about 4-5 miles) everyday to get to school. My car really isn't worth much and I can't justify spending a ton on a new exhaust toy. I can't seem to find a video of this on youtube so I don't know how loud it is. Does anyone have this exhaust?
My goal is to spray it black like this one. Which spray paint do I use or do I just get one for steel application?
thanks!!
edit: I live in pleasanton and I personally know someone who got caught with an exhaust here that went to my school

I would not buy that... dude that's an exhaust leak waiting to happen.
For $120 there cannot be good tolerances, or decent welding.
Save your $$ and buy something worth owning.

I know what you mean... I recently grabbed a SRS cat back for my car and although it is stupid loud, I still want something louder.
If you are cool with telling people you have an ebay exhaust then go for it. I would probably go for it and if it doesn't work out, then oh well. At least it was only $120.
And high temperature paint will be best for painting it.

If you can't afford to do a modification properly, it means you can't afford to do the modification period. Don't buy a cheap part as it'll cost you more money in the long run.
Yeah, a lot of people know someone that has gotten in trouble for exhaust. Black, shiny, white, blue, red.... I don't care what color it is, you still have a big, loud fart cannon.
